SD DOT SIOUX FALLS MAINTENANCE SHOP AND OFFICE ADDITION

The SD DOT facility project provides a maintenance shop addition for Building
400, 500 and 600, and an office addition and remodel for Buildings 100 and
200 to better serve the needs of the Department of Transportation. The project
creates one large shop addition, a remodel of the central axis going north -
south and an addition to the north of the central axis. The shop addition was
approximately 9,355 SF and includes four drive-through bays. The remodel is
approximately 1,920 SF with a 589 SF bump out. Site parking was moved to
the west of the addition, it included 22 stalls with two accessible stalls located
near the existing building to limit elevation changes and distance to meet ADA
requirements.
