VA NEW KITCHEN AND VETERANS CANTEEN SERVICES

SGA developed a design for the renovation of the west wing of Building 5 for a new Nutrition and Food Service (NFS) kitchen and new Veterans Canteen Service. The design was a Main Street themed remodel for CVS and NFS Kitchen and Canteen Services. This is approximately 16,500 gross SF space included indoor and outdoor dining, Canteen / convenience store, Kitchen, Nutrition and Veteran Home cooking assistance. SGA provided phasing plans for demolition and construction for floors and ceilings, equipment and furniture layouts, finish schedules and discipline coordination. It was important to improve work flow and efficiencies in the loading dock area as well as internal handing of food preparation and food tray delivery.
