WINGS GYMNASTICS

Wings Gymnastics Studio wanted to bring its offerings into a larger facility – making their classes accessible to a larger group of students and expanding their after-school program. This project consisted of an open gym with gymnastics equipment and support spaces for students and instructors. The second-floor mezzanine provides viewing areas of the gym. A colored storefront glass acts as a beacon to attract attention from the adjacent arterial street. The exterior design of Wings Gymnastics provides visibility by engaging with the surroundings. The building’s transparency allows natural light to flow into the interior spaces during the day, while serving as marketing for the gymnastics studio at night.
