Garry Black comes to SGA with more than twenty years of experience. He is SGA’s new Project Manager in our Rapid City office. Garry spent the past 11 years working as a Vice President for an A/E firm and focusing on Federal government projects. He previously worked for the SD Army National Guard as a project manager and energy manager for seven years. Garry has managed projects ranging from small renovations to overseeing design processes for multi-million new construction projects. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from SD School of Mines & Technology.
In his spare time Garry enjoys fly fishing, photography, woodworking, motorcycle riding, building stuff from rusty steel and traveling in his van “Ed” (named after Edward Abbey).
