CROOK COUNTY WAR MEMORIAL
Nestled south of Bear Lodge Mountain range and west of the Black Hills National Forest is Sundance, WY. On the grounds of the city’s Crook County Courthouse is the Crook County War Memorial. A rock-framed granite monument was built to honor WWII Veterans and those who made the supreme sacrifice. Three separate monuments honor Veterans in wars and conflicts in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Panama, Lebanon-Grenada, Persian Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan.
