NEW EFFINGTON VETERANS MEMORIAL
Located in the northeast corner of South Dakota, just south of the North Dakota border, is the small town of Effington. Even with a small population of 246, the community felt it was important to honor American Veterans, and they installed a granite memorial just outside the American Legion, etched with the Branch Seals, American Flag and POW/MIA Flag.
