PEARL HARBOR NATIONAL MEMORIAL
The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center includes exhibit galleries, a theater, bookstore and wayside exhibits. Millions of people visit the memorial every year. The actual visitor center building, the white rectangular building shown in one of the photos, was built above the sunken USS Arizona. In another photo you will see black wooden circles which are the actual gun turrets above the surface of that sunken ship.
If you look closely at one of the photos shown, you can see a faint rainbow image at the bottom right. This is a trace of oil that continues to leak from the ship that sank in 1941.
