The West Plains Veterans Memorial can be found in the People’s Park of Howell County, MO. Dedicated in 2002, this park honors the names of Veterans living and dead. A Gold Star Mothers section was added in 2014 to honor those mothers who lost their Veteran son or daughter in service.

Located in the Ozark Mountains, just two hours east of Branson, this city extends its Veterans recognition beyond the memorial.
