JESSE BELL

Senior BIM Technician

IN MEMORIAM

It’s not often in life that you come across a person who you can only reflect on as a beautiful light. Someone who is always positive, always supportive and always a joy to be around. Someone who is wonderful to gravitate toward. For us at Stone Group Architects, that was Jesse Bell.
We were lucky to have Jesse as a co-worker and friend since 2018 in our Wayzata, MN, office. He was a talented and dependable draftsman who kept us on-course with his easy smile and optimistic approach to life. Sadly, Jesse passed away in October 2022, leaving a hole in our hearts and a gap on our team - he can never be replaced. We consider ourselves blessed to have known him, and we thank his wife and daughters for sharing him with us.

Jesse Bell, Age 57, of Maple Grove, MN passed away on October 5th, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jesse’s love of the outdoors took him out West to the Mountains of Colorado in his younger years. His love of motor cross at a young age combined with his love of spending time outdoors led him to discovering new trails on his mountain bike where he was joined one day by a girl named Desiree Nelson. The two were married on February 6, 1999 in Bellwood, NE. After their wedding, Jesse and Desiree moved to Minnesota where they raised their two beautiful daughters, Morgan and Macy.
Jesse shared his love of mountain biking with his wife and two daughters and later enjoyed becoming a “Triathlon Sherpa” for his girls – hauling their gear and doing bike tune-ups during their events. He was very proud of his girls. In his most recent return to Bellwood, Jesse told his brothers that his greatest achievement in life was raising his two beautiful daughters to become the successful young women they are today.
He inherited his mother’s love of time spent with family and Jesse enjoyed many other family activities such as the several yearly trips he and the family made back to his hometown of Bellwood, NE to see his parents, brothers and extended family, weekends spent tinkering in the shop in Buffalo, MN with his mother & father in-law and his regular elk hunting trips to Colorado with his father, brothers and a close friend.
After returning to school to receive a degree in drafting from the University of Minnesota, Jesse pursued a career in architecture and had been a Sr. BIM Technician for Stone Group Architects for the last several years.
Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Desiree; daughters, Morgan & Macy; parents, Robert & Joyce Bell; brothers, Rodney (Sherie) & Jason (Amy); nieces & nephews, Brooke, Kirsten, Tadan, Jarrett & Easton; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ronald & Sharon Nelson; sister-in-law, Carrie (Jim) Lex; many extended family members & dear friends
He was preceded in death by his brother, Sidney; Grandparents, Robert and Doreen Bell, and Clint and Maude Kallenbach.
