Joe began working at SGA in 2021 as our Senior Revit Technician. He received his AS in Drafting & Design in 1998 at Northwest Technical Institute, (formerly located in Eden Prairie, MN). After Graduation, he worked on projects for KKE & OPUS in the Twin Cities. After moving to Moorhead in 2011, he was an insurance agent for seven years at AFLAC. In 2018, he followed his passion back into architecture working on franchise hotels, a medical facility and fire hall.
Joe’s family includes his wife, Elizabeth and two sons: Ben and Will, as well as three dogs: Spud (Moorhead, MN Mascot), Tuukka (Like Boston Bruins Goalie Tuukka Rask), Louis (Accidentally named the year the St Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup).
He enjoys woodworking with his wife, which includes, building and refurbishing furniture when he is not actively at his sons’ hockey, tennis & band activities.
