KODA

TADSAW, BB

Canine Consultant

Koda was born in North Platte, NE. His mom and dad are both grand champion hunting/sporting dogs. From a young age Koda was pretty laid back (for a lab puppy) and a quick learner. Upon finding out Koda and Brandon (Koda’s owner and architectural associate with SGA) had the same birthday (which was several weeks after he came to his furever home), it was obvious it was a match meant to be and they began training with hopes of Koda becoming a service dog someday. In February of 2022 Brandon and Koda joined the Train a Dog Save a Warrior (TADSAW) program and that summer, Koda passed the Public Access Temperament Test (PATT) and the TADSAW program to become a certified service dog and Battle Buddy (BB).
In the office, Koda can be found making his rounds and keeping tabs on everyone or finding a cool spot to lay and take a nice nap. Koda loves going for walks and getting as many sniffs as possible; Brandon jokes Koda would have made a great Detection Dog also! Koda likes to watch the rabbits and squirrels around the office and he really wants to chase them but he knows he isn’t supposed to, that’s probably the hardest part of his day; but don’t let him fool you, he will try to tell you how rough he has it. Koda also really enjoys scratches, and belly rubs. He likes to play in any water he can find, even his own water bowl at times. Koda seems to always be able to make people smile and brighten their days. He also enjoys meeting new people, but especially meeting any new animal that might become a playmate. You have to watch out for his tail, when it gets to wagging, it can be a weapon!
